PRESSURE CLEANING SYSTEM FOR ROOF GUTTERS
This is a new type of roof gutter cleaning tool that is easy to build
and will give outstanding results. So much so, we would match it against
any commercial product on the market today. It not only does a good job
of cleaning out the gutters but in addition has an attachment to unclog
any downspout pipe if that becomes nessary.
This is a simple do it yourself
project and is easily assembled in a couple of hours or less. Even someone
with limited mechanical skills should have little trouble. It is built
entirely from PVC plastic pipe and fittings. PVC pipe is an easy material
to work with and very inexpensive. The total cost of all the materials for
this project was under ten dollars.
All of the materials used were purchased
at Lowe's Home Improvement Stores. Only a few simple hand tools are required.
Once built it can be used year after year. Being made of all plastic parts
there is nothing to rust, rot or even wear out.
The only thing you will need
is a wet-dry shop vacuum which most households aready have. These are handy
tools to have and can be used for a variety of other household tasks. The one
shown in the photos is a light weight hand held type purchased at Lowes for $29.
All shop vacuums have a vacuum port as well as a blower port. You will use the
blower port to supply the high pressure air for your project.
